The Model 6160 MEMS Tiltmeter is designed for attachment
to structures, on either a vertical or horizontal surface by means of
an adjustable bracket, and for the subsequent measurement of any tilting
that may occur. The tiltmeter itself contains a Micro-Electro-Mechanical
Sensor and associated signal conditioning, designed to drive long cables
without output signal degradation. The sensor has excellent reliability
and stability over time and temperature, and outstanding shock and overload
durability.

The Model 6201 Tiltmeter is a portable device designed
to measure tilt in structures such as buildings, dams and embankments
and also for measurements related to the stability of slopes, open pits
and the walls of excavations (e.g. slurry walls). The tiltmeter is placed
on a tiltplate which has been permanently attached (either vertically
or horizontally) to the structure to be monitored. The readings are
taken in pairs, 180° to each other, to eliminate instrument bias. The
sensor is used in conjunction with the GK-603 or GK-651 Readout Box
and ceramic or bronze tilt plates.

The Model 6350 Vibrating Wire Tiltmeter is designed to measure
tilt in structures such as buildings, dams and embankments and also
for measurements related to the stability of slopes, open pits and the
walls of excavations (e.g. slurry walls). The tiltmeter is permanently
attached to the structure to be monitored and can make measurements
on horizontal or vertical surfaces. Readings are taken with the GK-403
VW Readout Box or continuously and remotely with the MICRO-10 or LC-1
dataloggers.

The Model 6700 is designed to measure angular displacement
in structures such as dams, buildings, tunnels, embankments and retaining
walls. It is an easy-to-install, low-cost alternative to accelerometer
based tilt sensors, settlement systems and surveying. Horizontal and
vertical configurations are available to measure differential vertical
displacements and tilt. The sensors may be monitored remotely or read
with the Geokon Model RB-201 portable readout box.

The Model 6800 Geopendulum System is designed to
make accurate measurements of the relative movements of normal and inverted
pendulums, such as those found in dams, and can be installed as a new
system or as an electronic upgrade for an existing system. The electronic
package outputs data through 4-20 mA or EIA RS-485 communications hardware.
The data can be stored locally or remotely in either a Geomation Model
2380 MCU or Geokon Micro-10 Datalogger and thence by hard-wire or modem
to a computer (IBM PC). Software provided with the system allows up
to 32 Geopendulum Systems to be accessed from one computer.
